The post holder will be responsible for providing engineering support assisting in the delivery of high quality equipment management within the trust. The post holder will be committed to providing best practice solutions to planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and equipment asset management. The post holder will help provide effective medical equipment support to the various wards and departments of the trust. Based in the Medical equipment Department, you will be expected to support other core areas as required. • Complete performance verification, cleaning and safe delivery/storage of supported equipment as required. • Assist in the implementation and evaluation, of appropriate support to the wards and departments, in line with current trust guidelines and protocols. • Implement and influence change in line with developing engineering procedures and policies. • Operate within the Health and Safety and COSHH requirements for the department. • Act professionally in regard to communication and working with contractors and staff. • Maintain a training portfolio in line with trust and role requirements.
